A Bit About Me
What do you love most about being a play therapist?
The joy on children’s faces when they see the playroom for the first time and again when they realise they get to come back every week!
Which toy in the playroom is your favourite and why?
The puppets! They are not commonly found in children’s homes so I love to see children discover them and work out different ways to use them. I also love how puppets allow children the opportunity to distance themselves from the big stuff they are playing out.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
I love to binge a good series, listen to a thrilling audiobook or go for a drive with my family!

A Bit About Me
What do you love most about being a part of Play therapy SA?
I love being a part of a company that offers support and guidance to children in a way that makes sense for them.
Which toy in the playroom is your favourite and why?
I like the role play areas, the options are endless and what we see as a simple play kitchen or market stand could be something else entirely children and different from one child to another.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
I love spending time with my friends and family, playing and goofing around with my kids and listening to music. I have recently taken up reading and have become quite the book worm in my down time!

A Bit About Me
What do you love most about being a play therapist?
What I love most is witnessing those quiet shifts when a child starts to trust the process, express something they couldn’t before, or simply feel more at ease being themselves. It’s a privilege to walk alongside that journey and see their confidence gently unfold through play.
Which toy in the playroom is your favourite and why?
I really enjoy the sandtray and the miniatures, there’s something so magical about how children create entire worlds and stories with them. It’s a space where their inner world becomes visible, and every tiny object can hold so much meaning.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me chasing sunsets on beach walks, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or wandering through local markets and events.

A Bit About Me
What do you love most about being a play therapist?
Following the child’s lead and exploring their world. A place where the child can get or learn to be their authentic selves and explore and express their emotions without judgement.
Which toy in the playroom is your favourite and why?
I really like the bop bag – because it can represent and be used in so many different ways depending on what the child needs.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
Watching TV movies/series (such as psychological thrillers) and basketball, cuddling my animals, being in/observing nature.

A Bit About Me
What do you love most about being a play therapist?
Building meaningful connections with the children and their family and being part of their struggle as well as their growth. Seeing the child every week and the excitement that they have when they see you in the waiting room because they know that they are about to have a session together in the playroom!
Which toy in the playroom is your favourite and why?
The doll’s house would have to be my favourite. It’s something that can be used by children of all ages and there’s just so many creative ways to set it up.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?
I love entertaining family and friends in our home and going for walks, especially to the beach (my happy place)!
